Mostly clean, there was a random chapstick container on the coat hook. The space is smaller than it looks in the picture. The bed was comfortable and clean. The “city view” rooms are neat but the building next to Moxy is bigger, so you are just looking at other people’s apartment windows… which is odd. My biggest complaint is the bathroom. The toilet is nice but the button sticks. The shower is also nice but not laid out correctly. There is a half glass wall that works if the waterfall shower head is back further. But because of its position, water is just bouncing off you and on to the floor. Overall I’d give it like a 4/5. I’d stay here again but I wouldn’t come in with as high of expectations for a $200 stay.
The room was expensive adding the $35 per night parking inside hotel. The place was clean but small, kind of a modern Hostel look. Lots of concrete made noise ecoed around the room, especially when doors closed. Room key was used to get to floor in elevator also so we could not visit anyone else on a differant floor. No wifi unless you were a member or paid. No microwave or refrigerator, a very small room. Had asked to be on same floor as wedding party but we were all over the place. My wifes 80 year old sister had to use a bunk bed to share a room and we were not informed of this. TV had no movie channels they expected you to stream from your own accounts. No breakfast so for the money this place is very expensive. Bed and pillows ok.
Positive: Everything! Negative: Didn't have a fridge in the room, but wasn't a big deal to us.
My go to when traveling to Minneapolis. Logan is always is here to serve and all the team members at the front desk and in housekeeping are extremely politely and accommodating. Location is perfect for anyone wanting to be in Minneapolis but not in the congestion of downtown.
We were in the area for a wedding, and chose to stay at the Moxy! Great location if you are coming in town for any event that is being held at USBank! Perfect walking distance! Also, nice hotel lobby bar, and our bartender Randy was great! He was our bartender throughout our stay there, and he was always great to us every night! If you choose to stay here, make sure to go see Randy!
