Mountain View RV Park, Salt Flat, Tx

Stayed here late December of 2025. Kind of out in the middle of nowhere but reasonably close to Guadalupe Mountain National Park and the Salt Flats. Wi-Fi was excellent. I was able to get a little work done and we streamed Netflix on the evenings without any issue (200+MB down). Son also played Xbox in the evenings with no issues. Bathrooms looked nearly new and were in great shape! Showers were large and clean. Toilet and sink were also excellent. They also have a nice laundry area that is very reasonably priced (in fact quite inexpensive based on our experience). Owner/operator also went WAY above and beyond to help out another camper with an Airstream trailer that was apparently having electrical issues and needed an extension cord and heater (temps were very near freezing overnight)

Mountain View RV Park is a great RV park. Jay was a great owner and host. This is probably the best RV park I have stayed in during my short time camping and roadtripping. The site was a nice size. The bathroom and shower was very nice and clean. The laundry room was very nice and clean. The view from the RV park was nice as well. I will stay at Mountain View RV park again when I am in the area.

Nice location to visit Guadalupe National Park. New park, very quiet. The owners are very nice. Reasonable rates for full hookups.

Stragetically located between White Sands, Guadeloupe and Carlsbad Caverns National Parks, this RV park is a natural fit for tent or RV camping. The park is new and the RV sites are spacious. The laundry and restroom / shower facilities are clean and very functional. This is a hidden gem.

Storms changed our motorcycling camping plans, but Jay was there to save the day! The acommodations he provided for us were great. Hot showers in the bath house were a treat. Mountain View was a great start to our adventure!
