Mountain View Lodge

I enjoyed my stay. Arrived late and left early. The keybox is a nice touch instead of a traditional check in process. Room was larger than expected and comfortable. Only issue was the paper next to the dining area said breakfast started at 7am. And by 7:30am it still wasn't open. Certainly not a deal breaker as the room had a coffee maker anyway. This was on a Sunday morning.

Very nice spacious, clean rooms. Tall windows and comfy bed. Check in is more like an airbnb (no front desk) and you have a code and key box to get into your room. Free snacks, coffee, and water bottles. Appreciated the simplicity and very good value!!

My wife and I stayed at the The Mountain View Lodge on 25 Oct 2025. Other then the room being a little outdated we had no issues and would stay there again. They are making progress in updating the room. Clean, great beds, no smell and again overall no issues. We loved having the bar and restaurant next door. The bartenders we very nice and we were lucky to be there on Sat. when the band was playing. Great place.

Was a little out of the way but looked like a great spot to stop for the night and have some dinner. Unfortunately there was no information on kitchen hours online and we arrived late so could not try the food. Rooms were really spacious and bathtub was nice. We did have some trouble with the key lock box but overall the service was great.

Yes, off the beaten track. But really easy to get to! Super clean, very large room. Everything we needed at an excellent price! Had nice lodge-y look with red bricks also. Not fussy!! But soooo comfortable. The restaurant/bar/breakfast was excellent! Really nice people, great drinks, affordable prices. Doing the good things in a Great way! We hope to be back soon!
