Mountain View Campground LLC

Quiet camping spots with unbelievable view of all the surrounding mountains. Love that all the service roads give access to beginner/intermediate mountain bike trails and that the camp is just far enough from town that you hear no cars at all.

This campground is wonderful for real tent campers! The sites are cleared and leveled, the price is very reasonable, and the views are MAGNIFICENT! It's extremely quiet, and just rural enough to feel like you are away from everything, yet not too far from stores or gas stations. There are amenities like portapotties, fire rings, plenty of firewood, and potable water availability at the owners area if needed. The owner Jonathan is awesome- very kind and accommodating, and shares a wealth of information of the area. He is also available for adventure tours if you are nervous about soloing it out in the wilderness. He gave us directions for a shortcut to Bisti, and turned us on to a great local brewery (550). We can't wait to come back this spring with some friends and rent several adjoining

Johnathan's description of the property was quite accurate. On top of the amazing views you felt like you had your own piece of paradise. Our group came in with two travel railers the biggest 30 feet long. No problem finding level spot with world class views. In addition Johnathan provided a wealth of information on the local area. We are already planning our return trip.

My partner and I stayed at this campground and absolutely loved it. Johnathan is a great host, just an absolute sweetheart with lots of knowledge about the area. It's in the middle of construction but doesn't interfere with the experience at all. The Porta potty was clean and there was access to clean water. It was also really quiet and had really cool views of city and mountains. We will come back to stay with Johnathan again!

We tent camped on our way through on bicycles. Jonathan was a great host and the service was top notch. He drove to town to pick up a hot meal for us. His pup, Twix was a delight to have at camp. I’m excited to see the business grow and services added.
