Mountain Rest Cabins And Campgrounds

This place has the dirtiest cabins I've ever seen. Too small for the asking price, you're better off staying in a luxury resort. The water smelled of sulfur and leaves a grimy black tar in your pans. There is mold growing in the window sills. The photos of these cabins are misleading, renter beware!

First, our cabin was clean, but in need of a little attention. Light in bath was out, and toilet needed to be replaced. TV reception is basically non-existent. We were there for a family get together and were given a table top charcoal grill that would barely fit burgers. Since we were expecting a gas grill for the price we paid for the cabin, we had no charcoal. The office was closed the entire 4 days we were there. Thankfully, another family had a portable grill they brought up to our cabin. The area and people around seemed a bit rough. First night, a huge fight that was scary and made all feel it might not be real safe. There seemed to be a couple available for help, but they were not available for our requests. We absolutely enjoyed ourselves. Miss June was an excellent host. If you’re looking for tranquility and peace, you will find it here. The grounds were clean the cabin was quaint. I was traveling with my husband and 2 dogs. We came to trout fish in nearby creeks, lakes and streams; not much luck with the fish this week but we’ve found a great place to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday stresses. Thanks to Ms June and her mountain rest cabins staff for making this short getaway memorable.

Floor was about rotten bath tub didn't work nobody around to tell you anything very over priced to sleep in a little shed

Nice place for retreat but lack of the guidance to let you know where you can go around for fun activities. Hot water in my cabin got a muddy smells I think the hot water tank is old. Overall is good.
