Chattooga Trails Bed & Barn

Really lovely place run by some really nice folks. I hiked in here while connecting the Foothills Trail with the Bartram and it made the perfect stopover. Really enjoyed the balcony off the upstairs suites particularly with how quiet it is on the property.

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay in the Charleston Room at Chattooga Trails Bed and Barn! Excellent accommodations and very private. Jay and Kes were so helpful with providing tips and recommendations for my ride and activities around town. The paddocks were spacious and well kept. Enjoyed winding down by the fire pit after a long ride and taking in the beautiful views. Highly recommend their place for easy access to trail riding! Definitely will be back soon!

We loved our last minute stay here! We had our horses and wanted to check out whetstone and do some river crossings. The accommodations are so cute! Very clean and well thought out - we felt our space was very private even having other people stay close by. The hosts were so helpful with the trails and we even bought hay off them to stay longer! The whetstone trails are awesome! A bit rugged in a good way- my solid barefoot horse was fine but probably recommend boots/ shoes. The river is stunning! We actually rode them swam and suntanned for a while 🤣🤷‍♀️ This was a wonderful gem of a stay!!!! Highly recommend!!!!

We just got home from a wonderful weekend at Kess and Jay’s property. I can’t say enough about how much we all loved it. We only used the campsites, but Less showed us the downstairs room and it's great if you have some friends and want to not "rough it" as much. The campsites were great with water and power hookup. They even were available to help me back my trailer in for perfect fit. They have some great picnic tables that were perfect to enjoy our meals outside and the sites are well shaded in the canopy of trees. The fire pit, although we weren’t able to use due us being “old people” and going to bed early, had an amazing view with LOTS of seating and a nearby hammock to just relax and listen to the horses and birds. The paddocks were great for the horses with shade and water.

This was our second stay at Chattooga Trails this year (April & Oct.) with two other couples. They have two rooms upstairs with a loft available for relaxing, tv, etc. - (great beds) and a large room with den and fully equipped kitchen downstairs. There is also a back porch overlooking the horse paddocks that goes with the downstairs room and that was our favorite place to hang out, drink coffee, and relax - a perfect and quiet place for friends to get together, which is what we like best about staying there. They keep the property spotless and stocked with amenities one might need or want. Kes is very accommodating and friendly - she even gave us an itinerary for a waterfall tour this last time, which was great.||||The horse paddocks do require a bit of fitness to negotiate, but that is t
