Mount N Lake Motel

Me and my gf drove up to stay for a day and were very pleased with the cleanliness and speedy check in service. Don’t let the disgruntled posts of other peoples experiences deter you from this place. The room was perfect and everything was clean and fresh the way it should be. I liked that there were USB plugs on both sides of the king size bed and there is a nice park across the street if you have animals or would like to picnic outside. I wish I had time to use the stoves which were a surprise… there was even 2 mini fridges. Amazing place plus it seemed to be the cheapest in the area 🙏 we would definitely book again.

Don’t stay here. No blankets in the room, 30 degrees outside. I asked the manager for some and she said she only had 4 and they were in use, just use the heater. On the 2nd day she said she had a stack of dirty ones. I guess she was too lazy to do laundry. We had no blankets for 2 days. But we did have a flat sheet and old bedspread. Also low water pressure, nowhere to hang clothes.

Do not book here, they are scammers. I made a mistake when reserving and booking resulting in both me and my son paying for the same room. So we paid double. I kindly informed the motel about this asking them to refund my son's amount since they already had received my amount through Booking.com. They didn't responsd to my message and refuse to refund the money. I've never experienced such bad service. It is just stealing. Don't go there.

Liked · There was a park in front of the motel with bbq grills and playground equipment. It has a fairly nice view of the lake. The refrigerator was a nice size, there were two in the room one was not working properly. Being able to park the car in front of our room was a bonus. The area did feel save even at night. Being able to go outside at night and sit in the park to look at the stars was very cool. Having picnic tables in front of the room was a nice touch, made it easy to eat in front of our room and have a nice few of the park. Disliked · The floor was dirty so we went and purchase our own wet swifter to mop the floor. The stove hadn't been cleaned and the storage compartment underneath was dirty with questionable things in it. The bathroom only had one little towel bar that could
