Mount Mitchell Eco Retreat

We love our stay. It was perfect to stay away from the hustle and bustle. We stayed at the Winter Star and it was very comfortable and beautifully decorated. We loved the main lodge as well especially the kitchen. The views are amazing!!

My wife and I stayed at the Eco Retreat July 14 - 18, 2025. The accommodations were wonderful and our experience communing with nature was a real treat. The commitment to creating a sustainable world is quite evident.

This is my and my husband's second time staying at the Eco-Retreat and we absolutely love it. The rooms are tidy, the grounds are so beautiful and everything will be well with your heart when there. I highly recommend staying here to anyone!

Stunningly beautiful area and views from the property. We visited in December and it was great to connect with my partner and 3 children without phones, tvs, or electronics. The rooms were very clean. modern, and comfortable. The community kitchen was no hassle and we had all we needed to prepare meals. It was great. We will return.

Wonderfully relaxing, with amazing views! We can't wait to return for another stay at the Mount Mitchell Eco Retreat! We appreciated the knowledge and helpfulness of Heather and Hannah and Emily! The room was super comfortable, and we enjoyed spending time at the main Lodge, too!
