Motel Garberville

Is it the best Motel? No. Does it serve its purpose as a Motel with reasonable prices for the time I went? Yes. Room was clean no off smells everything functioned ac/heater worked well. Walls are a bit thin but other than that good place to stay.

Old building was clean and well maintained. Decent dinner place next door, and hippie dippy breakfast cafe a half block away. Room had a microwave and fridge, but neither were plugged in because there was just one accessible electric outlet, half of which was taken by a light fixture. Guess I need to pack a power strip.

Was on a long roadtrip and this location was convenient for us. Basic accommodations. I encourage this motel to install electric vehicle (EV) charging stations on property. They could secure more nightly bookings if they had it. Few hotels in the area offered EV chargers so this would be an easy point of differentiation to secure more room bookings. If you decide to implement EV chargers, I recommend contacting Pangea Charging to take care of this for your motel.

Nice place, pretty location,staff was sweet. Quiet location nestles among giant trees, morning fog, close to confusion hill and redwood skywalk, great place to take kids. Motel is clean and I paid $<127 a night in 10/27/2025. I would give the experience a 5 star

Booked this hotel for Avenue of the Giants race. The room was clean and the check-in was easy. Located across the street from a coffee shop and down the road from a few restaurants. The rooms could use some renovation, but overall it was comfortable and a nice place to stay
