Motel 8

Worst experience with customer service. We broke down 4th of July weekend in front of the hotel. It was 125 degrees out and we had no AC and we were traveling with our 15 year old Frenchie. I asked if we could wait in the lobby till the tow truck arrived. I was told “absolutely not”. I asked if I could pay for a room as he was overheating and he kept passing out. They also said no. Both the front desk clerk and the manager had no compassion or understanding. The place is not upscale, clean, or a place that I can see shouldn’t allow pets under special circumstances. I will NEVER stay here and would NEVER recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to this middle of nowhere town.

The rooms are clean, quiet and spacious with comfortable king size beds. The showers work as they should. WiFi is free and strong. We didn't use the pool but it looked clean and inviting. The owner clearly cares about the property. A great value!

Positive: Quiet, clean. Negative: Small toilet- short and small seat- hard to use. No kleenex in room.

Very clean rooms. No crusty carpets. They had new composite flooring. They need new mattresses.

Utter and complete dump. It’s disgusting. He has “resident” people that live here making a ton of noise. Beds are hard as a rock. There’s stains all over the carpet floors, the rooms are gross. No water pressure. everything inside the room is absolutely filthy. The five star ratings must be fake reviews. I promise you this place is a dump. Desk worker was rather rude. Not nearly worth the price he charged. I stay in about 150+ hotels a year. I don’t think I’ve EVER seen a hotel this disgusting.
