Motel 6 Stephenville, TX

The room is decently sized, but the amenities were not so great, such the sink and bathtub were slow to drain, air conditioner was loud and a bad stench that came out when you turned it on. There is no pool as show in photos of this location, it is filled in. As for the toiletries, they were not provided; one tiny soap bar, no shampoo, and limited towels. The wifi was intermittent and it kept disconnecting when watching shows or contacting friends and family on my iPhone, iPad and Apple TV. I expressed my concern about the wifi to the check-in counter, but the person behind the counter stated, “I can only restart it, but that’s all I can do,” the service was not great or acceptable. The people staying in the room next to ours was HORRIBLE guest. It sounded like they had around 10 people in their room. The kids cried and yelled well into the night like 2am. The mother getting on to them was just as loud when she threatened them! Horrible night plus the hot water tank busted so there was no hot water! They did offer to let us get our money back on the second night and leave if we wanted too.

Granted we did check in late. As in after midnight so it was nice to see someone still up or porch light was on. I will say someone did decide to paint over sized parking spaces. Which did make it hard to find a parking spot close to the room. Once inside the room the Air Conditioning worked great. Nice cold room nothing better to help you sleep. The rooms looked to be in good shape. But the cleaning left a lot to be desired. First stop restroom after driving for several hours. Raise the seat and boom my first though was they hire the blind because for sure no one had cleaned the underside of that toilet seat. I do not want to take a guess how long since it's last cleaning. No breakfast offered. At check out the front desk help was informed of the lack of cleaning done to the room after it

Room was clean and comfortable. Check-in was easy and staff were friendly. No issues at all during my one-night stay — everything was good!

They allow unsupervised barking dogs to stay all day alone in rooms. People should be able to walk in their own hotel room without thr dog next door barking nonstop. This went on for over a week.
