Motel 6 Red Oak, TX - Dallas

The strangest and most suspicious motel stay I’ve ever experienced. First and foremost, we were locked out of our room TWICE, due to a miscommunication between the owner and office staff. The first time the keycard was disabled was the same day we checked in. When we went to check and see what happened in the office, we were told the room wasn’t listed as occupied. It was actually AVAILABLE TO RENT, with all of our belongings inside of the room. They reactivated the keycard and it was settled for that evening. The next day came and we had things planned so once we left out of the room that morning we did not return until dusk. When we got to the room, once again, we were locked out. The shade on the window was pulled back and the room was completely EMPTY. For the second time, we went to

Bug issues (several controlled by my shoe). Sharp metal piece coming up through the floor in front of the bathroom door. Door is wide enough to be ADA compliant except it is hard to open all the way. There has been effort to make it better but needs more professional help to make it right. PS water doesn't get hot enough and the pressure is to low for the rain head so bring a cup or bowl if you want to wash and rinse any parts below your shoulders and upper torso 👀🤔😉

Do yourself a favor and don't stay here beds are broken and uncomfortable and if yeah ask to be moved yeah well good luck. As you can see below the owner doesn't care about your stay as his comment is negative trust me this place absolutely sucks location is loud rooms are dated beds are broken you have to get your own towels and toilet paper each day they don't clean the rooms each day of your stay showers are also unsafe as the floor are slippery.

Motel 6 Staff in Red Oak is and humble and price is actually affordable here. This spot is Quiet and peacefully. A family owned business. Place is good to catch up on some sleep and relaxation time. Room was clean has big walk in showers with good water pressure and comfy big king beds.

Reserved room through an app, the transaction went through but the hotel system didn’t have the correct debit card details! The lady at the desk wouldnt change it! Wouldn’t get the manager or call someone that could help me! The hotel app customer service said the transaction went through with the correct details! BUt if I canceled my reservation I don’t get a refund!! The hotel still wouldn’t give me a room! The next day I get an email saying that I did stay so I looked at the reservation again and it wasn’t in my name anymore it was “guest .”
