Motel 6 Moriarty, NM

First off , the photo of what the front desk looks like is not from this place at all!!!! The chair that the front desk staff sits in was so disgusting and worn in torn.I wouldn't even put my little finger on it. They're pet friendly and don't charge you an arm in a leg.But there isn't nowhere really to walk your dog. And it had been kind of. Rainy and they just let the carpet in the hallway.Just be disgustingly dirty. And the lighting in the room made you feel like you were in a odd mental ward institution origin cell.I guess they're trying to save money on light bulbs but it was disgusting. That goodness when I travel in my car.I bring my own pillow bottom blanket.So I don't have to lay on their bedding.And my own blanket.I wish I would abruptly on towel. I stay at motel 6 when ever I can. The main difference is I can make reservations easy and cancel them if I have to. I tend to wonder around. Sometimes an out of the way M6 is a great deal because owners are glad to have travelers show up. Moriarty looks like nowhere but there's a truck stop on the edge of town that serves an New Mexico omelet with green peppers. Not far away is flea market and I made some great buys. Walmarts can be too stressful but a family dollar is quicker.

Positive: The location as advertised on website Negative: I did not recieve the Deluxe Queen Room $--- per night accommodations. Missing a microwave, the towels were stained, worn and dingy, the tub was dirty, and the sink was corroded. Contributing to an overall unkempt appearance. I was bamboozled.

Worst motel/hotel I ever stayed in. The room not only smelled of dog, it smelled of dog feces. The comforter on top of the bed linen looked very old and thin. When opening the bathroom door the henges squeaked so loud it would wake up anyone asleep. The fan loudly squelched when the bathroom light was turned on and again would awaken anyone asleep. The bathroom tub/shower was so filthy, I would not use it. This hotel is falling apart and it appears that no effective maintenance is being performed. The price is way too high for a substandard room.

Holy cow, what a letdown. No amenities. A bar of soap is it. The water in the tub won’t turn off. The toilet does not flush. I would call the front desk but the phone doesn’t work either. If you can go anywhere else, please do. I’m sure the manager will reply to this with the standard copy and paste that they are disappointed that they fell short of expectations. My expectations are just a clean, comfortable room with a flushing toilet and the ability to turn the water off. This room falls way short. Save yourself and drive up the road. I will say the woman at the front desk was friendly and helpful.
