Motel 6 Maple Shade Township, NJ - Philadelphia - Mt Laurel

Was the only stop available the night I stopped in. Was about 3 weeks after the snow storm still only one way to get to the sidewalk. On top of that the wheel chair ramp was a sheet of ice that I fell on. No salt applied front desk didn't care neither did corporate when I called. It's a shame that motel 6 went downhill the way it did. Cant forget to mention the dead roach that was on the wall in the bathroom that's probably still there today.

Used Hotels.com to make the reservation; I called to verify the dog was allowed at no extra fee. We had no problems with the pet policy. ||Room was a fair size when you consider we were only intending to sleep there overnight and depart early the next day. Our first "non-smoking" room smelled of smoke and ash burns were all over the bed covers. They graciously allowed us to transfer rooms, but the door had a gap, allowing in light and noise so we could hear the traffic from the road and voices from the parking lot below. Even with two deadbolts I still felt the door wasn't secure, which was a concern due to the derelict appearance at the back of the parking lot (a large pile of take-out containers mounded in the corner.) ||The only toiletry item provided was a rather small bar

I’ve stayed in a lot of Motel 6s over the years - this wasn’t the worst but it wasn’t the best either. This was a late booking on summer weekend and the rate was pretty good compared to other options. Room was relatively clean and I was pleased to have a small fridge (with separate freezer) and microwave as those aren’t always standard at Motel 6. The AC also worked great and it’s wasn’t super loud. There are two buildings, each three stories with exterior entrances to the rooms. The elevator in the breezeway of the main building didn’t appear to be operational. My main complaints: -water pressure in the shower was pretty weak. -road noise was awful in my room. The door wasn’t plumb and there was a bit of a gap at the top which I stuffed a washcloth in to. That helped but it was still not

Guy at the desk was super cool. The rooms are really nice and clean for the price. And for the price, it's a deal!

The only reason im giving this hotel a 3 star max is because they were able to accommodate me so last min and at a time of emergency for me at a great price. But for the main reason I won't give it more stars is because I can easily tell that the bed sheets were used and not replaced. As I lift the cover off, I see crumbs and hair from the previous person who stayed in this room. All housekeeping seemed to have done was just fix the bed and not replace the sheets with clean ones. The same goes for the other bed in the room. Other than that, the service at the front desk was great, and the man who checked me in was polite and nice and got me a room quickly. If you're looking for an affordable spot, this is it.
