Motel 6 Manchester, TN

We stayed here while on a long road trip to pick up a new kitten. Our room was clean and spacious with two beds. Pets stay free, which is why we always choose Motel 6 when traveling with our furry friends. The heater was easy to use so we could warm up the room since it's been cold lately. My only complaint is shampoo isn't provided in the room, just a bar of soap. Also, the tub faucet is backwards, which caused some confusion. I thought we didn't have any hot water but soon figured out the cold side was actually the hot side. Neither of these things are enough to knock off a star though. Just something worth mentioning so others know what the expectations. The desk worker and housekeeping were friendly.

The room itself was a room…hair clumps in shower and not a detailed clean. Okay for a short stay. There was actually a mini fridge in our room. Front desk is very rude and the grounds is a mess. It doesn’t feel safe. There are guests setting off fireworks, drinking and loud in the parking lot late at night.

Neil at the front desk is absolutely amazing. We checked it at around 11pm and got two rooms. When people think of Motel 6 they think the worst. Not this place. Rooms are evacuate. They smelled as if they had just walked out of the rooming from cleaning. Great location walking distance to Walmart and other establishments. And just a 45 minute drive to Murfreesboro. There is a DEPOSIT but it IS REFUNDABLE and pets stay free.

I am a disabled woman and asked for a handicap room. Everything looked good so it was no big deal. When I went to take a shower however the shower chair was broken so I fell and hit my thigh off the side of the tub. Then I was using the lower shower head and took it off the wall no problem, but when I went to put it back the bar that was holding it on the wall fell off the wall and hit me as well as the shower head. I showed the man at the front desk later that day as it was around 2am when this happened. I showed him the pictures of what happened to me and explained the situation and he at first only gave me my security deposit back. Later he decided that I would get a refund for the whole night. In my opinion the way the whole situation was handled was horrible and I told the man at the
