Motel 6 Macclenny, FL

We were very pleased with our room. We were there for one night in a non-smoking room. Easy, online reservation. Quiet, hot shower and comfortable beds. It was very clean. We will use again!

Positive: none Negative: pet owner beware !! they charge $50 as deposit and WON'T refund. tiny dog walk area is trashed and with dirty sand. no door mat in front of the entrance and of course you and your pet bring sand inside. that was the reason I didn't get back the deposit

This is a very basic motel with no frills. The room itself was fine, but be aware there is no pool. The location is convenient, it’s right next to several small-town stores and restaurants, and only about 20–30 minutes from downtown Jacksonville. One issue I had was with the pricing. Google shows the rate as $45 per night, but for two nights I ended up paying $175, which felt misleading and much higher than expected. Overall, it’s okay if you just need a simple place to stay near Jacksonville, but double-check the final price before booking

Be aware of this location. We were placed on a do not rent list and was never told why. I booked a room and was told after I arrived that we couldn't get the room. I asked for a refund and was told I couldn't get one. They will steal your money and not give you the room. The last time we stayed there our room was not clean. The shower had hair in it.My socks were black from the floor. It says they have a pool and they don't. Its false advertisement.

This is BY FAR the nicest Motel 6 that my bf and I have been to. We are, of course, travelling with our two dogs, one is a service dog and the other I just inherited. Anyway, we have been to several of the motel 6s recently and all have had really bad everything, but THIS one, this location was and IS outstanding! There are just the basics, but they all work. So the internet is great, fridge and microwave both present and newer, clean and nice. Clean towels, though not many, but they're clean. The beds are AMAZING, especially compared to all the terrible ones we encountered in the Jacksonville, Ft Lauderdale and Palm Beach areas (those were hit or miss but mostly pretty awful).
