Motel 6 Lost Hills, CA

If you’ve ever wanted to wake up at a truck stop, this is your place. Stayed here the night before a track event at Buttonwillow because it was close (10 miles). Reviews of the other motel at this exit made this one seem less prone to highway noise at night. It was relatively quiet of road noise, except for the guests yelling outside at 4am. The lady behind the desk was nice and gave me the choice of first or second floor room. The room itself was clean, but quite drab. The room door and window locks both seemed to have had issues covered in marks and holes. There was a fridge and microwave which I didn’t check. Positive: Easy access from I-5. Reasonable rates. Negative: Would have preferred carpet instead of hard floors.

The staff were very kind at this location. The room was clean and mostly quiet although I could hear the neighbors TV on for a couple hours -it didn’t bother my rest. It has a nice refrigerator and the whole facility has many security cameras. There are many gas stations and restaurants nearby.

The service here at this Motel 6. Located in Lost Hills. Is excellent. Myself and a team of workers are from out of town and stay all week. Our rooms are cleaned everyday the service is wonderful. Robyn and Paige go out of their way to make our stay terrific. Highly recommend

We checked in around midnight and Brenda at the front desk was so kind and welcoming. When you roll in that late slightly exhausted and living off road trip snacks, a friendly face makes a big difference. She was chatty, helpful, and really set a good tone for our stay. The room was what you would expect from a Motel 6. One of the beds had a very enthusiastic squeak every time someone moved, and the walls are thin so you can hear neighbors and early morning car engines. Not ideal, but not shocking for a budget stop. We slept fine. The only real issue was the door. When we were checking out, I shut it and pushed on it like I always do to make sure it locked. It did not. I turned the handle from the outside and it opened without a key card. I tried a few times thinking surely I was doing s
