Motel 6 Lake Elsinore, CA

Booked and paid for a room in advance August for October through Expedia. Stayed 10/04/2025, room 220, second floor. It started well but made a wrong turn somewhere. The room seemed nice, clean and modern with amenities like a mini fridge and microwave. However, the shower faucet was completely broken, one bedside lamp was out of order, and the TV remote control had low/no battery. The receptionist Mike said we could not get a new room due to a full booking. He entered our room four times throughout the evening to check the tv and turn the shower on/off. We were told the shower was fine (not true) the faucet just had to be turned a certain specific way. Mike eventually had to bring up tools to turn the shower faucet off, it took him a good 10-15 minutes! Non-committal responses were given

Sam provided excellent customer service during my stay. He was efficient, polite, and ensured my check-in process was smooth. The room was clean, well-maintained, and comfortable. Motel 6 Lake Elsinore is a reliable option for a pleasant stay.

The Good: Surprisingly quiet for being right by the 15. Very comfy beds. Good blackout curtains. Quiet A/C unit. Huge refrigerator. The Bad: I chose this place specifically because the sink was shown outside of the toilet and shower area. Unfortunately this was not accurate, as our bathroom had the sink in with the toilet and shower. It was horribly inconvenient as no one could be getting ready while someone was using the bathroom. There was also no towel rack, there was a giant empty wall right by the shower and for some unforeseen reason, no towel rack was installed. There was also no toilet paper holder?! Like what? The toilet paper was just placed on the ADA handrail on the wall. Also the faucet cannot be turned on full power, as it is installed too close to the mirror behind it and th

I recently made a reservation at this Motel 6 based on good reviews from 3rd party travel sites and found them to be true, after staying here on a Saturday night. This Motel 6 has renovated modern rooms and a great location, not far from the interstate. The room i had was very very basic as are most motel 6 locations, but this location was more than acceptable for one night. The room was fairly clean but far from perfect and the towels and sheets have seen their better days. My room rate was fair for California as i booked in advance with my AARP discount. Plenty of fast food and convenience stores/gas stations nearby. The hotel staff upon check in and check out were very friendly and pleasant. Overall Rating ~ Good/Ver Good for a one nite pitstop while traveling ( based on Motel 6 Standar

Sam was very friendly and helpful and made the check-in process easy. The room was clean; and the location is a good proximity to conveniences like a gas station and 24hr store, and 24hr drive-thrus.
