Motel 6 Hillsboro, TX

There was a piece of a pizza box in the microwave 😳 Other than that, this was a very nice and comfortable Motel 6. -1 star for knocking on the door two hours before checkout just to ask if we were checking out. I don't know whats with these cheaper motels and rushing you out of what you paid money for but I'm sick of it. Be warned; I've not been answering politely and I'm going to make a personal sign to carry with me for places like this, that reads: "Do Not Disturb before checkout" I was in the shower and my wife had to get off the toilet.

The hotel was clean and the bed was comfortable. I appreciate being able to bring my furkid at no extra fee. It would be nice if there was a small enclosed area to let the dogs run around however I understand not wanting to because pet parents don't always clean up after themselves.

Front desk was a genuinely nice man. Came out and asked to help me. Laundry room is in the back patio. I stayed there outside smoking until laundry was done. Glad he had quarters and didn't make me go to the store or bank.

We drive from Ohio to Mexico and stay in Motel six so that we can bring our two dogs. The room was the cleanest Motel 6 I have ever stayed in. My only disappointment is that they did not offer any toiletries at all. There was not even any Kleenex and no way to make coffee or tea. It did have a refrigerator and a microwave in the room which was great. The shower in our bathroom was cracked so it sprayed water to the ceiling and out onto the floor, but we wrapped a towel around it to prevent that from making a mess. Definitely was not a dealbreaker. If you’re looking for a clean place to stay, I highly recommend this place.

I wanted let everyone know that this motel 6 was absolutely amazing and very comfortable and very affordable jay the Manager was Absolutely amazing and very helpful and kind after me and my family got kick out our house because our roommate beat me so we left and jay told us dogs stay free after numerous hotels we went to would deny my Service animal. They are amazing. Definitely recommend staying here
