Motel 6 Gilroy, CA

Better than most motel 6. Clean,decent size rooms with a better microwave and refrigerator. A diner shares the large parking lot with the motel. Cell reception was poor but the wifi was decent enough. Id give it a 3.5 out of 5. The bed was way too hard, woke up in pain and the shower head could have been cleaner.

Positive: The staff are wonderful to work with. Rooms are clean and nice. Negative: I would suggest they have a coffee maker in the room, so patrons do not have to walk to the lobby. Coffee is served in the lobby at a time that is not convenient for customers on business trips that come and go at very early or late hours.

Was very unhappy with our stay. The room did not have a queen size bed. When told to the office they said it's a standard queen. It was a full. The bathroom was so gross. The floor was nasty in the shower. The water leaked all night couldn't get it to stop. The refrigerator didn't work and was on the floor. Was very unhappy and will not stay at this hotel again!!!

We stopped by in the middle of the night on the way to San Jose unexpectedly and it was a great choice. Room was so cute and perfect for the night. ||Since it was only for the night we enjoyed the comfortable bed and spacious shower. The tv worked great. There were toiletries & enough towels. Didn’t have the standard microwave, fridge or ironing board or iron. Worked out since we didn’t need it.

We stayed here just as a place to stop between San Francisco and Sequoia. The rooms were clean and spacious enough. The cafe next door did a good breakfast. The windows had a gap between them so you hear some of the motorway noise. Under the motorway bridge were some people living in tents and under sheets and some people loitered around the car park, I parked near the front door and didn't have any issues. There are no options for food (in the evening) within walking distance so you need to drive somewhere to eat.
