Hilton Garden Inn Gilroy

Property is in awful condition. I don’t understand how the reviews don’t reflect reality of this property, and the poor standards kept. Yes the staff are nice and friendly but your not sleeping in the lobby….||Common areas around the lobby look nice- but as soon as you step off the elevator, your met with stained carpets- not a good look because if they can’t keep the common hallways areas presentable and clean, doesn’t build confidence in the room care and cleanliness.||The blind in my room was half falling off, I reported this to the front desk who informed the GM. I was told maintenance would come up and fix it. They never showed. I went to close the blind and it fell off the wall.||The front desk manager was kind and apologetic and put me in another room. Positive: The shower and the personization on the tv. Negative: The pool and hot tub were not clean and the jets in the hot tub didn’t fully work. The gentleman at the front desk was really rude before checking in I believe because of my attire that’s not ok. I was given a room that had a thumping or vibrating noise.

We had a great stay at this hotel for two nights! My favorite part was the TV being fully stocked with streaming services and all - everything worked and it was easy to use. The room was clean and comfortable, and the AC ran very cold which I love. Didn't get to use the pool or hot tub unfortunately, but love the idea of it being available. Carlos at the front desk was amazing and provided excellent service. The small snack shop in the lobby was also perfect for late night snacks!

My first time ever to leave a comment because I think I need to acknowledge Dennis at the front desk, who was exceptional. He was very accommodating and went above and beyond to help us with extra linens, making sure we were comfortable throughout our stay. His kindness, professionalism, and willingness to help truly made a difference. We really appreciated his extra effort and outstanding customer service.

This is a nice hotel to stay overnight for a roadtrip. The room is clean and comfortable and plenty of parking spaces. Staff is friendly. The drawback was their breakfast (not free). It was worse than the free breakfast at Hampton Inn. I thought it would be better bec it’s not free, but wasnt. Upgraded to cook to order omelette from extra $. Disappointed. If you want to stay and have breakfast, stay at another hotel or have breakfast somewhere else.
