Motel 6 Fort Worth, TX - North - Saginaw

The location doesn't allow cats and did not tell me until after I was staying three days and I asked to extend a single day (when I could move). Nothing on the site nor their specific policies says they don't allow cats. I declared on check in I had two cats and was still allowed check in. I am now having an emotional break down trying to figure out what to do since I have literally no where else to go until Wednesday and don't know what to do. The reasoning they gave me is because "cats never leave the room and do all their business in litter boxes so it causes the entire room to smell like cat and we have to replace everything". This was such a pleasant stay. My daughter and I had to get to Fort Worth on a family emergency and we were able to come rest after a stressful day in peace and quiet. The staff maintains this motel impeccably and are always available for any questions we had. Highly recommend this for your travel plans.

Budget friendly, pet friendly, and close to 820. The elevator consistently smells like cigarette smoke, and the room and linen smelled bad like sweaty feet. The staff wants dogs to relieve themselves in the back of the hotel which is a very small space hidden behind the dumpsters where there is no light and no camera so it doesn't feel particularly safe at night. (Photos attached) There isn't a dog waste station either and not everyone picks up after their dog.

Rooms were decent but the fridge is super tiny and under a table in the floor. No microwave in room so you have to go to the vending area on the 1st floor. The mattress was super uncomfortable to me. The family is nice though. There is a lot of foot traffic from people not staying here and for a no smoking hotel it smells strongly of weed everywhere. Not a place for kids due to the obvious drugs being used on site.
