Motel 6 Carson, CA

This hotel was meh 😒 . There was mold in the bathtub around the ADA handles. It was a bare bones room. The chairs in the room were hard plastic chairs. Beds were okay, pillows were flat. I asked for some extra pillows and blankets and they wouldn’t give me any. It takes a lot for me to not want to stay at a hotel again. After all, it’s only one night. Saying that, I wouldn’t stay here again. I had a reservation the following weekend, but our travel plans changed. I asked the desk attendant to cancel my reservation. He said he would…. I asked him if he could cancel it while I was still there and he said he would cancel it. He just stared at me. I booked this through Motel 6 so I knew he could cancel it. I checked a couple days later and he hadn’t canceled it. I’m glad I check

We booked a room for four people through Booking.com with our family. I paid Booking.com immediately upon booking.||||When we arrived at the motel, the receptionist told us that they had not received my payment from Booking.com and that I had to sort it out myself. They gave me a phone number to call. This seemed very strange because Booking.com is their business partner—why should I be the one to solve this issue?||||In any case, I didn’t get a room. The Booking.com phone line was busy for a long time. Then, the receptionist called in some “manager,” who offered a “solution”: I could pay again, this time directly to them, and they would refund me if they eventually received the money from Booking.com. Positive: This Motel 6 has become my home away from home. It is VERY CLEAN AND QUIET. Front Desk is ALWAYS very polite. This Motel 6 one can see cleanliness when you enter the Lobby. Negative: None at all.

Everytime I stay at this Studio Motel 6 it's always stressless and easy, I've never waited longer then 8 minutes even when it's busy. ABHI the gentleman who check me in, remember from previous visits my accommodation. Going above and beyond for me. Always polite and fast amazing staff

Great location. Within 30 minutes or less to Anaheim, LA, and many beaches. Rooms were clean, bed was comfortable, the mini mart in the lobby was very convenient. The pool hours aren't super great, but the water is clean and refreshing. For the price I paid for my room I was very happy. I would absolutely stay here again next time I'm in the area.
