Motel 6 Bishop, CA

Recently stayed here for multiple nights, and it was a great experience. I’ve worked in the hospitality industry for a long time, and have seen it all. I was very impressed with the cleanliness of my room. Elvira was the housekeeper who serviced my room during my stay. Elvira was very friendly, and she obviously takes pride in her work. Elvira’s attention to detail was noticeable and much appreciated.

Positive: Price was good for the location. The Room was spacious. That area seemed safe and crime free. The staff was courteous. The hotel room served it's purpose for my stay to ski Mammoth Mountain. Negative: The walls are paper thin. I could hear the neighbors talk next door through the walls. The internet was so slow that it was not usable.

Comfortable, clean, in good repair, great staff and everything in order. The room even had more electric outlets in more places than I think I've ever seen, especially in a budget room. ||Only problem--there was no light over or even near the desk area, which was located in a dark corner. I had planned to do some work during the evening, but it wasn't possible. Otherwise, we had a great stay.

We stayed for 3 nights before Christmas. Room was spacious and clean. However, there was not even a bar soap in the bathroom! We checked with front desk and the cleaning crew, no luck! Unbelievable for a lodging facility in Christmas season. That's why they get 1 star in this review. Hope they do better in the future.

Clean room. The coffee machine is a bit slow. Wall mount shampoo, conditioners and body wash. No overhead lights, only night stand lights. Door jams, and makes loud noise. The guests next door go in/out of their room sounds like they are coming in to our room. Good variety for breakfast. Good location for one night stop of a long road journey. It was winter time so we did not use the outdoor pool but it looks good and clean.
