Montrose Hotel

The rooms were smelling. There was no glasses or cups for drinking . No coffee maker, was no soap or shampoo in the shower. These rooms are basically camp rooms for oilfield workers

On the positive side, the hotel is clean and there are a lot of signs hanging up giving instructions about how things work. I also received a text early in the morning to let me know how to get into my room. ||On the negative side, this property isn’t a hotel as much as it is a boarding house for natural gas or quarry workers (or contract workers from other industries). We booked a stay because we were visiting a sleepaway camp in the Poconos, but when we got there, we realized that we needed an extra set of sheets for our child’s air mattress. But we found that the property had no staff on duty and it was difficult to reach the manager on the number provided to call. ||In addition, the lock system is a numeric code, but the bolt wasn’t very strong — it would have been very possible to k

Pros. The room was clean well looks like wood freshly vacuum the bedroom made bathroom was clean The Host hotel staff was nice and willing to help. Cons. underneath the beds were dirty there was a pot that have been sitting there for a long time there is mildew and mold on the shower curtain the beds are extremely uncomfortable they need an updated bed in all the rooms the fridge is a tiny fridge not much room for storage nothing to cook with except for microwave and the chair for the computer desk is just a folding chair no comfortable thing to sit on in the room.but I would say that the worst thing about the hotel are the beds very very uncomfortable and feels like they need to be updated immediately.

If you are looking for a clean, nice and welcome place to stay, this hotel is for you. I like that there is a kitchen with a fridge with all the pans, frying pans and all you need to cook a good dinner to your own taste. It's situated just next to Dunkin donats where you can buy a good coffee to your own dinner cooked in the kitchen,.

I've stayed here a couple of times now at the Evergreen apts and the ladies are fantastic and the rooms are sizable enough for my needs! House keeping accommodates for you if your working night shift! Great job ladies
