Lakeside Motel

$27/day for a place to sleep, and shower. Very worth it. Do NOT stay at 82 Public. It's very old and outrageously inconvenient. No WiFi. Terrible cell service. Sketchy clientele. Parking is street side, so if there's nowhere to park you're just plain out of luck. Experiencing this issue right now. I stayed again at 82 Public against my better judgment and yet again it's the worst experience I've had all year. Still no Wi-Fi even though I'm being told that there is, but both passwords that I've been given have been wrong. The building is super old. Beds don't even have sheets. I'm almost positive I'm sleeping on a padded box spring.... there's no tenant parking only street parking and I'm working nights which means I'm coming out to my truck every morning to a $5 parking ticket. For one year I have called about getting my $100 deposit back for the key to the room. I have been given the run around multiple times about how they were sending another check. If it is not rectified immediately I will be forced to contact my lawyer and file a suit against Lakeside Motel.

Nice area, rural and quaint but close to shopping.Wonderful view of lake. Clean rooms with free wifi at a great price!
