Montana Fly Fishing Lodge

We just stayed at the MFFL 9/18-22. Completely amazing and better than we could have hoped for. We have stayed at a variety of ORVIS approved lodges and can say without hesitation this one is truly amazing. From Judi and Lincoln Powers, the hosts, to the entire staff, the food, fishing, lodging and extra activities it was essentially perfect. Our guide Pedro taught us more in 3 days of fishing than we could believe after 15 years of prior experience. The exquisite food, lead by the famous MFFL's epic tomahawk ribeye plus so much more was incredible. The daily drink specials were fabulous as the wine choices. The fishing was varied and excellent. An outstanding experience which we will be repeating annualling if not more!

The phrase my wife and I used repeatedly during our stay was: “this is not real life.” Everything about the experience at the Montana Fly Fishing Lodge was first-class and exceeded expectations. We will absolutely be back and will be bringing friends. As hosts, Lincoln and Judy were exceptional. Their attention to detail was incredible, they ensured we were taken care of at every turn, and they were genuinely good people who are passionate and care deeply about what they do and the enjoyment of their guests. Our hosts, Judi and Lincoln were welcoming and charming! Judi cooks all the delicious meals which were out of this world good. Wine pairings to boot😃……. Fresh coffee awaits you outside your room early in the morning after a great nights sleep in a comfortable bed and comfortable pillows ! The fishing was excellent and we loved our 3 day guide ,John Chase ,owner of BugLife ! I highly recommend this lodge.

The best fishing and hospitality experience ever!||This was truly an experience of a lifetime for me, my son and grandson. It was beyond everything we were expecting! Lincoln, Judi and their staff are the epitome of graciousness and hospitality. They anticipated our every need with courtesy and enthusiasm. Upon arrival we were greeted with a warm and genuine welcome by Lincoln,Judi and Dani in addition to some excellent cocktails. The meals that Judi prepared were gourmet quality and worthy of a three star Michelin designation. She is a chef that takes pride in her presentations as well as preparation.
