LA Hostel is super cheap. 30$ per night in dorms and they offer simple breakfast and dinner. I found the beds pretty comfortable, but the washrooms are not very clean and there is not enough toilets. You can see all kinds of travelers over there because of the price: from the backpacker to the old weirdo... The reasons why I gave a 2 star is because of the staff. They do it for the business and not because they are interested in travelers. Also, they barely speak English and are ZERO accommodating. You really need to follow up the rules, otherwise, no possibility of finding an arrangement. For instance, I got up there at 7 o'clock in the morning. The owner guy is very nice, but at this stay of Mine, everything in My room was messed up and one black guy was about to start a fight and the Puerto Rican Jewish Irish Pub owner was supporter of His. Bathrooms are always clean, kitchen is nice. This is not about the place, but whom You are staying together with.

I stayed here for two nights in August 2016. When I got there I was surprised to see little signs of it being a hostel. It looked like a private house. Also it barely said "LA Hostel" anywhere, except on the gate where it was handwritten and hard to see.||The owners should put up more signs outside!||||When I got in the owner seemed stressed out, and did not make a particularly good first impression. She was nice and helpful the following day though.||||The hostel seemed quite clean and respectable. It's a bit small though. It's a small private home converted into a hostel.||||My room was very good. The bed was fine, and the air condition in the room worked great. I spent 4 nights at LH Hostel and had a nice stay. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Rooms are simple but from my point of view that's okay considering the price. They offer towels, shampoo and body wash for free. Beds are okay for me but I am not too picky when it comes to mattress and stuff..||||Breakfast was good. They offered a "buffet" consisting out of toast, butter, peanut butter, jam, ham, cheese, muffins, cake, fruits and cereals as well as milk, orange juice, tea, coffee and water. We had to cook dinner by our self. They provided noodles, instant noodles, sausages, ham, and tomato sauce). Breakfast was availabe 7AM to 10AM, dinner from 7PM to 10PM. Tea, Coffee and water was free during the entire day.||||Location of the hostel is not too bad. Time it takes to walk to Metro

The accommodation is clean. but the management is very strict. free breakfast (cereal and milk). but very far from everything. wifi is ok. they offer to sell tickets to Universal studios which is cheaper if you buy it from the gate. which great coz i save money.
