Mockingbird Suites

Beautiful property and only a short stroll to the town square. We stayed in the Azalea suite which had 2 bedrooms, a cozy den, and a large bath with walk in shower. The home has been completely restored, it's tastefully appointed, and spotlessly clean. The beds were very comfortable too. The owner was very accommodating by allowing my buddy and I too leave our trucks in the secure parking area while we spent the day riding motorcycles around the countryside. Would strongly recommend to my friends and family.

The Mockingbird Suites was wonderful place to stay! Once we got past the 100-120 year home that was lovingly restored, we were greeted SUPER comfortable beds, ample pillows, & soft sheets. There was a welcoming big back patio with furniture for our to-go food that we picked up a short 2 block walk away. Great big bathroom with big, soft towels & nice soap/ shampoo. We stayed in the Azalea suite which had a small studio with a twin bed & a comfortable sitting area. Perfect for travelers needing a 2nd bed. Jan was accommodating & quick to answer all of our questions. I would stay here in a minute over the freeway options.

I highly recommend Mockingbird Suites. We have a big family so I reserved all the rooms for my son’s graduation last year. The rooms are so lovely! The home is so beautiful, it was perfect! In addition, the owners are very nice and professional. Can’t wait to visit Nacogdoches and stay at Mockingbird Suites again.

My husband and really enjoyed our stay at Mockingbird Suits. Not only is it a beautifully restored home but very comfortable with lots of light and room to move around in. The Mockingbird is conveniently located in the historic section of Nacogdoches.

This place is amazing and located within walking distance of downtown. Owner is very engaged. This was our first stay but with a kid in college, it definitely won't be our last. Great shaded patio with a very peaceful view. Can't say enough!
