Mo-Rest Motel

Beautiful motel with comfortable beds, very clean rooms and amazing water pressure in the shower! We loved our stay here and enjoyed a relaxing Saturday afternoon/evening here. Oh and make sure to ask for Casper at the front desk, he is worth visiting with too, he's a dolly!

This motel definitely shows it age. The rooms are a little larger than the typical budget motel, but the furnishings are so old that they might qualify as antiques. The air conditioner was fairly new, but noisy. The bathroom fixtures all worked, but were old. The medicine cabinet was so old that it was rusty. The room was clean and the linens and towels were nice. There was a step up to most of the rooms, which would make it difficult for anyone with mobility issues. There was a fairly large mini-frig and microwave. The frig was nice and worked well. Half of the rooms are right behind a car wash which made lots of noise when it was running. There was quite a bit of traffic on a nearby road. There are not a lot of choices in Mobridge, and this was acceptable for one night since t

Flatly put, this place exceeded expectations. When booking, the folks that own it were very helpful since we had a few uncontrolled variables we were dealing with. The entire property and rooms are CLEAN and well maintained. The rooms looked like they had recently been updated. It is clearly high quality work and materials. The TV's are all SAMSUNG, the tables and chairs are heavy(high quality wood), and the beds were very comfortable. This was a far better experience than The Wrangler(where we stayed last year).

I was super impressed by this roadside motel, nice and clean and comfy beds and updated shower and vanity. You can see the pride of the ownership by the tidiness and cleanliness of this motel. No frills or breakfast, but I’d stay here again and again just for the piece of mind of a nice, good, clean room.

Very clean modern rooms with enough space to house 2 adults comfortably. Great stop for out of town work trips.
