Bay At Grand River Casino

We had an awesome stay at the cabins!! They were very clean, right off the docks, pet friendly (respectfully), and about 10 minutes to the state park. The beds were comfy, the cabin kept cool during the day, and the water was hot! They had outdoor grills and plenty of picnic tables. Thanks guys!!

The Bay Campground at the Grand River Casino is flanked by Lake Oahe and the Missouri River. It is a really comfortable, peaceful and relaxing place to camp. The rates cannot be beat! 30/50 Electric and there are Water Spigots scattered throughout the campground. You can see the locations of those on the park map. We put a splitter on the one close to us and added hose and we’re set for our stay. Big Rig (45’ Motorhome) In/Out and pet friendly. Well manicured lawn and trash cans are close by. Staff is very attentive to empty them throughout the day. Sites all have plenty of grassy area between them along with large park like spaces behind your RVs/Tents. Enough space to park your vehicles and boats if your are fishing. The boat ramp is located just before you enter the campground

We actually used The Bay's dock and cleaning station on the western side. It has a bathroom onsite and a cleaning station with a grinder. The dock itself has 3 lanes with which to load and unload and a spacious, asphalt parking lot that can accommodate dozens of vehicles and trailers. It either costs a minimal $5 daily fee or costs nothing if you make a purchase at The Bay's convenience mart.

This campground was a gem! Quiet, spacious, lots of trees, shade and nice grass. 50amp hookups, water spigots are located between sites so don’t expect continual hook up to water. Dump station on site. Bathrooms and playgrounds. Staff frequently round the campground to ensure all is well. Previous reviews mentioned low hanging trees but we found only on the access roads. Staff at the check in hut said just let them know if we need trees trimmed back. We had to leave ahead of time so didn’t get to explore the water. Great price! $15/night.

Camp sites are spacious and tidy. Bath house is clean and well maintained. Location is fantastic.
