Misty Mountains Park

Never stayed here. However, I reserved an overnight stay a month out. Two weeks later in late August of '25, I get an email from Roverpass saying my reservation was canceled due to a "closure". At this point I assumed I would get a refund, so I gave them a week. After a week I called to ask when I could expect my refund. My call went straight to voicemail three different times and the automated system said the mailbox was full and to try back later. I decided to dispute the charge with my credit card company. Its a good thing I did because when I talked to another local RV park nearby, they said Misty Mountains was being foreclosed on and the owner was deceased and before his death he was deep in legal trouble. Made a reservation for an overnight stop on July 2nd 2025. I reserved a "Premium Pull Thru". I made this reservation based upon the photos on their website. These pictures are old and obsolete. I wrote a review about this place being a dump. I commented that I had to disconnect my tow vehicle and back out of the "Premium Pull Thru". The RV park responded back that my review was from a "BOT" they lied like the pictures on their website. The grass is unkept. and was blown all over my motorhome while I was parked. The exit road from the "Premium Pull Thru was deeply rutted. Instead of taking the time to dispute actual reviews they should instead repair the place. Never would I recommend this place. Park is run down and owner has yet to return my $500 that he agreed to. To start with the park is overgrown with tall grass and everytime it rains it floods and is a mudhole. Owner (Bob) has some sketchy characters that “work” for him. Push mowing 2ft tall grass. The site next to me was leaking water from their spigot which the owner knew prior to me arriving. They attempted to fix it to no avail and it still flooded my site with a nice muddy hole next to my door. Trash was always overflowing the dumpster as well. This place is NOT worth $75. It’s on an open muddy field. The water has filaments and dust in it that could be scooped out with a spoon. It couldn’t even run through our Britta filter. The bathrooms were filthy with no paper towels. It looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in months. |The grass needed to be cut on the sites. |Bob is a nice person and helped us with the wonky online reservation system. But be warned-don’t stay here.

We had a great time just relaxing by the campfire! Bob is the owner and he was very accommodating and stopped whenever we were outside to make sure we had everything we needed. It is a no frills campground but that was what we wanted - a place to decompress, get together with our friends who also camped there with us and have an epic bonfire!
