The Apex camping has a great view of most MIS. You are probably as close to the track in 3-4 as you can be. It's so close, you will need to clean rubber off your coach after the weekend...lol
If you are planning on going to see a race at MIS then I would highly recommend using MIScamping. We were the last check in on Friday, and because our camper was parked next to a bus our carbon monoxide sensor kept going off. Andy, the president of MIScamping, took great care of us and made sure our race weekend was unforgettable! We got a move upgrade and everything went smoothly from there on out, second time going to MIS and we plan on using MIScamping for many years to come!
We rented 2 RVs in the Turn 2 Retreat. Having RVs ready and waiting for you is the way to go! The campsite was right next to the track. Andy and his awesome crew kept us updated on track events and connected us to more race access than I had dreamed possible. We had plenty of firewood, the AC worked great, the stereo system was sweet and the bed was comfortable. The daily bloody mary bar was a fun perk, too!
Going for the 4th time. Always have a great time in turn 2.
