I am traveling with my husband and two grown daughters, and I thought that Forks seemed well-situated for visits to various parts of Mt. Olympic National Park. We stayed in the suite that is upstairs, above the owners' home. Walking up the outside steps to our assigned room caused us to have a little trepidation, but what a surprise when we opened the door! There was a well-furnished suite, amply fortified with fluffy towels and soaps. #3 has 3 queen sized beds in two bedrooms, so there is plenty of space. All of the furniture and decoration is antique, but clean and not cluttered. In fact, I wonder if #3 has recently had a makeover, because the walls have lovely paint and the floors are also very nice. The bathroom is quite nice, nd the shower is SUPERB! I liked the bed linens as
Really nice little cabins. They are larger than I was expecting from the photos on their website. There is a main living area with a sleeper-sofa, a little table with some chairs, and a kitchenette with two burners, a fridge, sink, pots, pans and dishes. There is a loft upstairs that was small, but plenty of room for two adults, and there is a large bed downstairs. The location is also nice with a fire pit and a creek just outside. Only about a 10 minute walk to downtown. They had a small breakfast available, with some muffins, bananas, and things for coffee and tea. This would be a great place to stay after a camping trip. Just went back for a second time and it was still great.
Stayed in cabin 1. Clean, everything works, kitchenette is 2 electric burner, small (and quiet)fridge, and sink. Also microwave, toaster, and coffee maker. Both fold out couch and bed were comfortable. This is a simple one room cabin of the type a small family on a budget might have stayed in 50 years ago. It's in good shape but don't expect a lux getaway.Free breakfast is, as others have said, minimal. Grounds are nice.
My family spent a very pleasant 3 night stay at this B&B and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. This place is really more of rustic cabin at the edge of the forest than a B&B but that just might be it"s real charm. the Bed was comfortable and clean and my grandkids enjoyed the large open area and close by creek and large yard.. The cabin had a small kitchen and dining area that was adequate for our needs. Really a cool little place . I am pretty sure we will return.
I stayed here for a night during our visit to Olympic National Park. It was a quaint old fashioned cabin beside a creek. There are only 2 cabins connected to the owner's house, although separated. There was a fireplace as well outside.||||The cabin had a small kitchenette and a bathroom - which was fine for a night of stay. It has a directv connection also with wifi. Somehow the internet did not work during our visit and it was too late to wake them up at night.||||During your visit to Forks, please ensure that you have your dinner early - as there are not many dining places around this area. Overall it was a decent stay. The hotel charges was a bit high, may be it was a long weekend.
