We enjoyed our stay here. It’s not too busy, there are quite a few residents that live there long term. Everyone was friendly and helpful. We didn’t like the spots we reserved so they told us to just pick two spots and if we wanted to move to leave a note on the door. Multiple activities for kids, and the store is nice. We’ll be back!

My wife and I love this place. Its a convenient drive from home, pretty country, fairly clean bathrooms and showers, "depends on how busy the park is", great pool!, and awesome ponds to swim and fish in! This place is a great bang for your buck! The staff are friendly and helpful and the seasonal campers are friendly also.We found this place a year ago when we bought our first camper. We go 4-5 times a year, off and on seasons. However, this weekend, there was an issue that caused some discomfort for us. We decided to do a big family trip. While we were at the pool, one of the seasonal campers were making negative racial remarks about one of my family members. They were talking amongst their social circle, but we herd what they were saying. After that, the vibes were weird from them the re

We were tenting here as a base to do some day hikes. Our assigned spot was next to another tent group. There were no tent pads. The posted quiet times are 10 pm to 8 am. When making our reservation we had to sign a contract that included that - and many other- regulations The folks next to us played music while talking and laughing loudly well past the quiet hours. . My husband asked that they quiet down at 11:00 and again at 2:00. Our site was the last one on a dead end road and the neighbors had piled wood on the road so there was no way could leave. There was absolutely no monitoring by the management.|When we complained the next morning we were told we could move anywhere we wanted. We chose a grassy spot near some permanently parked campers. Long story short - there was a karaoke even

The campground was a mixture of good and bad. My daughter and her husband were at a tent site closer to the office and we had an RV site at the top of the hill. On the positive side, my daughter said the bath houses were clean. For us the site itself was peaceful and easy to back the RV in. For the negative side, all of us had a tick crawling on us at the upper RV site and we found one on my wife’s head after getting back home to NC. The lower tent site that my daughter was at had a lot of mosquitoes as did the pond area. The road going into the campground was paved, but narrow and curvy in several spots. I’d hate to meet an RV coming the other way. Their website should better stress that you should not head in from the interstate until after 2pm to avoid meeting someone. Nevertheless, it

Three family members, hiking segments of the AT, in three tents, found this campground intolerable. Both nights we were there, parties raged until after 2 am. The first night, we talked to our neighbors, and they turned the volume down but still talked loudly and tramped in the woods to find firewood. It wasn't until 2 am that I again confronted them, and they went inside their tents and quieted down. No one from the campground was around to address this issue, and no one checked. The office was never open the Saturday or Sunday we were there. I asked a guy picking up trash on Saturday, and he directed me to another site away from the campers making noise. Saturday night in a different location was at least as bad. Loud music and singing went on until after 1 am. This was a group o
