Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Manchester

This was perfect for our needs..just a stop off after a long flight. The lobby and room were clean and we were greeted by a very courteous young lady upon check in. Convenient location and easy to grab some fast food. The breakfast was fine-enough to set us up for the day but agree with the previous review taking a few minutes to take the bread items out of the bags would have been better.

Just so you're all aware.. the pillows, at least at this location, are the size of a thick throw pillow. Square pillow ⬜️. Bring you're own normal size pillow if you're one of those "tuck one are under your pillow" kind of aleeper cause that isn't happening with these pillows here. JS. Pther than that, it was a nice stay.

The room is nice and clean and the service was great but threee are a few things we didn't like you aren't able to connect the tv to the wifi or use airplay or use any kind of app like Netflix, Disney plus or even your e. You can only use cable tv unless you have hotspot. The breakfast was not great either. We were expecting a wide variety of food like waffles, scrambled eggs, bacon like in the pictures on their website. But the only eggs they had as hard boiled eggs that tasted like they were a couple of days old. And they did not have waffles either and another guest had told me they expected waffles as well and she asked the host and the host said they were too ‘messt’ which honestly sounds like laziness to me. Especially considering the boiled eggs and broken coffee maker and expired

Positive: It was a warm bed and a place to sleep close to where I was going to be for the day. For the price it was just about what I was expecting. Negative: The walls were thin. The continental breakfast was very minimal. First time I have stayed at a place where there were no eggs included in the continental breakfast.

Rooms were completely value for money. Was provided neat and clean linens with all required basic stuffs. Room deserves 5/5. Breakfast has very limited options. I didn’t like them using “great value” brand of milk, bread etc.
