Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Gambrills

I'm not sure why this hotel only has two stars. I called a few weeks before my stay to get my room closer to my twin sister and the manager was very accommodating and made it so easy. Then on check in day she remembered me and was just as pleasant and nice in person as she was on the phone. The rooms where very clean and spacious and the beds even had bed bug covers. It's very rare that I go into a hotel room and feel comfortable as soon as I walk in, best sleep ever in a hotel. The location was great next to a mall and lots of food places. I have to say Channing is the best manager I ever met, it's no wonder why she is the manager and you can tell she loves her job. Would definitely stay here again.

Very nice hotel. Not fancy, more business feel to it, but clean with very comfortable beds, nicely decorated. Great location with numerous restaurants within walking distance. Staff has been extremely friendly and helpful. There are coin-operated washer and dryer on 2 floors. Continental breakfast (with waffle machine) is offered free to guest in the morning, and coffee always available. There is an exercise room and two computers available at the front desk. Prices were reasonable. I would definitely stay here again if in the area

I love my little home away from home. The lobby is cozy and the staff is always very friendly and eager to make the stay comfortable. ||||I’ve stay in the king rooms and king suites. The suites afford you a built in luggage rack, small dining area, kitchen sink, and sofa/bed with ottoman. The regular king room is still vacuous and comfortable. ||||Many area hotels of comparable quality are easily 50-100% more costly. I hate giving away my little gem. But they deserve the recognition.

Positive: Nothing Negative: Supposed to have a King bed with a walk-in shower, room. Had a double bed in a handicapped room where the floor would get all wet when using the shower. Most of the time we had no hot water. (was hot only at certain times of the day) Pet fee exorbitant.

Stayed overnight for my daughter dance team performance in the area. Since we live a little far from the area, thought to get a room for the night. The night front desk staff was great. He was attentive and nice (apologies I forgot his name). The room was nice and clean - 2 queen beds. Bathroom was nice & spacious (for my superstar to get ready in Lol). We had a nice view from our top floor room. The wifi was also great, no issues connecting & staying connected during our visit. The breakfast was just right. I had a waffle, coffee, yogurt, and banana. I really LOVE the late checkout (12pm). For a fee you can request later check out (up to 3pm) if available. Really will visit this location and other Microtels in the future.
