MGM Grand

Five stars!!! Job well executed! My daughter, a friends and I are here for the Zane Malik concert. and from the minute we came into the resort, everything was organized. I did not catch her name, but a slender English woman was able to create an environment that was respectful and made everyone feel taken care of. She reminded concert goers to stay hydrated, and also laid down the rules, letting them know what was expected . When she left, the crowd remained under control because of her expertise in handling a young crowd , where the majority were 25 and under.||Security, Hank Gracie was also very friendly, but also very firm, making sure that everybody who needed to be in the room was supposed to be there. Had 2 rooms at the MGM grand for family and I. 1 of the rooms was situated right on top of mechanical ventilation and too noisy to sleep in. Complained to management and they would not give us a new room on 1st night but gave us rollawaye beds and discount for 1 night loss of room. Next day I had to speak to management AGAIN after the front desk claimed they had no .ore rooms available. Thankfully Manager did the right thing by us that day. Rooms are adequate. We had good sized rooms booked so.we had space. Toiletries were at a minimum. One of the rooms did not have slippers or bath robes. Very very busy Hotel... Very nice place. It's more to one end of the strip than the middle. Makes it nice if you like walking. If you want to go see things you're getting your steps in for sure. Enjoyed my stay. We were here for a conference. And the conference center is a nice long walk from the rooms. Definitely getting your steps in if you're into that.

The hotel is at a great location and well connected and the room had a the view of the airport and a construction site. However, basic amenities like kettle was not provided and water/snacks given in the room were exorbitantly priced. It seems that this practice is common in Vegas hotels which didn't feel great as the room prices are not cheap by any means. Such practice doesn't fit with the impression of a good hotel.

I don't know where to start. I was baffled and in disbelief of how i was treated upon arriving. I have been to nearly half of the hotels on the strip that would be considered "mid scale" and one thing is for certain they always deliver nothing but exceptional customer service. Wish i could say the same for my stay at the MGM. First their app/ online check-in was having issues/ glitches. Which prompted me to approach staff for help as soon as i walked in. Rather than helping they sent me to a check-in desk to get "professional" assistance, because they were too busy having a personal conversation.
