Mesa / Apache Junction KOA Journey

We arrived early in the day, just as checkin window was open at 11:00am. They were ready for us and had our paperwork and site assignment ready to go. The KOA staff led us to our site and made sure we were adequately connected to water and electric. I don’t know if this is typical for this location, but for others, no one stayed to make sure we were all set. I appreciated the extra TLC, It was 105 degrees outside!||Once we set up, I took a moment to explore the facilities and to see what was available. This location has only a few concrete pads, to be honest, I saw one, and not sure if there are others. The other sites were on compacted gravel, yet relatively level. We did not need levelers at our site (57). The sites they offer: |50/30 amp w/Full Hookup|30 Amp Full Hookup|4 premium sites

I had the BEST time at Apache Junction koa. The employees are ALL just awesome! I could not believe how clean and NICE the showers and bathrooms were. Extremely NICE! I asked for help and a nice man came with a smile…I needed a lesson on propane tanks and connecting to a new fir pit and he took time to show me and help me…I cannot recall his name but he has a little white dog….SO appreciated him!. And, of course the very nice pool that was tempting, along with the fun of this area and beautiful sunsets. Everyone traveling should put this location on their list of stops. Or you can just be locals like us and tent camp. Thank you for a wonderful visit. See you in March (already booked).

Words cannot describe how incredibly impressed I am with this KOA. Heather, Arlene, and Jean at the front desk have been so amazing. We drove from Orlando Florida and somewhere in Texas our RV legs quit working. I called to let them know we needed to take our RV to the shop and we needed a cabin until our RV was ready. Luckily they had one available that was pet friendly! The shop took an extra day and the girls at the front were so helpful with the whole situation! We met Pat who works on the grounds who is also WONDERFUL he made us feel so welcomed. They truly take care of this KOA and each person who works here really enjoys their job. Their smiles, welcomes, and helpfulness go so far. Clean bathrooms, good laundry facilities, clean pool area. Everything was above and beyond our expecta

We booked a spot and clarified multiple times our length as was told we would be accommodated for a back in spot. We showed up at 930pm only to find out they made a mistake and the spot was nearly 40 feet too short so we had to find a new place to go. I was told as we were leaving I would be able to get a refund do the error on their end. Come to find out the next morning they will not refund us. I do not recommend this place. We ended up going To eagle view Rv park, which is much nicer and cheaper. Stay clear of mesa Koa and their shady tactics.

We had a great stay! Everything was clean and tidy, pool was fantastic, and staff was super helpful and friendly. Will definitely be back if we are ever in that area again.
