Melody Ranch Motel

Driven out at 7am due to repaving of parking lot, not a fan. Told I was warned, but who am I to remember... Room was fine. Heater and ac worked. Old school bathroom was reminiscent of my youth. Bed okay and linens clean. No ice machine, but maybe I missed it admist all the heavy trucks... Also, the carwash across the street was a source of noise. Nice people, however!

From the outside the motel looks quite run down but the outdoor decor looks like the 50s with the pool in front of the motel - so very 50s!!|But the room, though small, was very very clean, shining with cleanliness- the double bed was really comfortable, and the soap was generous. Best of all it was only $100!!!! We loved it

Kudos to this family-owned and operated motel that takes great pride in their facilities and customer service. My son and I were driving up from LA to Northern California for a school program, and needed a midway stop to spend the night. The front office closes at 9 p.m., but made arrangements for us to self-check in at 11 p.m. The rate was very reasonable, and the room was immaculate: crisp clean linens, white/well maintained grout, sparkling clean surfaces in the bathroom. There was reliable WiFi, and a microwave and mini-fridge. The whole place offered vintage roadside motel charm. The owners were so kind and gracious, and offered coffee and pastries in the morning when we were checking out. Do not hesitate to book a room here!

We have stayed here a couple of times and it is just perfect. The rooms comfortable, convenient location, reasonably priced. Our go to when in Paso Robles....

We’ve stayed here on multiple occasions, pretty much every time we visit Paso. I love this place because of the owners. They could easily sell this place and give in to commercial gentrification, make a few upgrades and start charging $400 a night like so many of the once quaint hotel/motels in Paso have done. They refuse to give in and I am more than thankful. Their rooms are clean and although my back would appreciate a more comfy bed, I am more than happy to continue supporting this great place and the wonderful brother and sister owners.
