Melody Motor Lodge

This is a great motel for the price, very clean and you couldn't have asked for better customer service! My husband, myself and our 4 year old stayed last evening after a long day at the water parks nearby. We asked to check in early by phone and they happily allowed us to place our stuff in the room before heading out for the day. Upon returning we realized out refrigerator was not staying cold, once I let the staff know they immediately brought us a new one, apologized and the new one worked great! They were super friendly, extremely accommodating and we will definitely be staying here the next time we enjoy the nearby attractions!! Thanks for a great stay!! God Bless You!!

The lodge is undergoing upgrades to the rooms, but they should complete remodeling before making these rooms available. Bathroom was remodeled, but main room had cracks going down wall, places on wall where something may have been attached and now holes, ripped wallpaper. A enhanced cleaning should be performed to remove cobwebs. Our bed appeared like the covers were just thrown on bed. All wrinkled as if someone had been laying on it. It is in a good location with easy access to main road.

Stayed for two nights. Off the highway Easy in and out. Nice 20 minute drive to Ohiopyle State parks. The lady at the desk was super friendly. Everything was very clean. If I'm ever in this area I definitely would stay again.

Classic road motel from the '50's. But well maintained; bathroom recently remodeled. Room was dark because of bad choice of light fixture. Very clean - no dirt, smell, stains or mold. Central air, which meant, combined with the brick exterior walls, new double pane windows, and no AC'heater unit, almost no road noise. Only real complaint was the combination of soft mattress and hard pillows. Very good breakfast dinner behind the motel that is easy to miss.

It was exactly what we needed, a cozy room at a great price. No frills but super super clean and friendly! The bathrooms are newly upgraded and the shower is fantastic! There also is a diner on site where you can get coffee at 6am and breakfast or lunch until 2pm. The food was fresh, tasty and hot when it arrived at our table. Will be visiting again!
