Meliá Orlando Celebration

First off the service was excellent- at the front desk, housekeeping and restaurants. For them 5 stars. Also in the lounge area, everyone was nice and it was always very stocked. It’s a complimentary drink and snack area for dinner hours. Also the restaurant was great with breakfast included every morning . The rooms were nice. Missing some items in the kitchen. Rooms could use a little TLC and upgrading but they were clean. The pool was very nice and warm.

Rooms are nice. Very friendly and approachable staff. Very sociable and they run mini events around the pool (today it was bingo). Great to see vs our last hotel that seemed very ‘clinical’. Disappointed by the pricing. Given a $ amount per night, that we paid upfront. But then when we get to the hotel, charged an extra $25/night for fees. Huh? Apparently fees are for “free drinks” between 4-5… although a very small selection (2 wines; 3 beers). My wife drinks wine, but only moscato. That isn’t on the list of free wine, so we paid $9 a glass and didn't get part of the “fees” back. So the “free drinks” are not actually free and you are paying for a service (free drinks) that you may not use. If a fee is mandatory, then include it in the advertised price, not a tacked on $ amount afterwar

Location was convenient, bed was comfy. ||Really, really noisy. Loud music playing by the pool area until 11:00pm. Bounce house was located just outside our room and they started filling that up early morning and then had it running all day. The dog in the room next barked constantly. ||All other furniture other than the main bed was not comfortable at all. ||Breakfast at the Wilson was pretty meh.||Our package included a complimentary 3:00pm check out. Nowhere did it say subject to availability. We were surprised to come back from brunch and found ourselves locked out. Spoke to the front desk and they said they could let us have our room until noon and that they usually honor the late checkout but couldn’t today. Again, no where did it say subject to availability. ||Als

We always travel level experience Room was basicWater was barely warm sent technician 2 times and no change so gave up in the end Breakfast was included with filter coffee and one glass of juice so had to go up to the level yourself to be able to get a good coffee from the same machine that was downstairs of which you would be charged for ??!!!! Service was so so Room wasn’t very clean didn’t replace facecloths after the first day But did include free parking and happy hour at 4-5 was fabulous and bar service was great All in all was ok but level wasn’t worth the extra money in my opinion

My son ran the Celebration Marathon. He booked this hotel because it was close by. It has a very nice kitchen with a regular full size fridge, microwave, full size oven & stove. We were very impressed on how clean the room was when we arrived. I spoke to Iberica and she was an amazing staff member that helped us. If we ever come back to Celebration, we definitely would stay here again! I highly recommend this hotel!
