Meadow View K Farm Guest House

We had such a wonderful stay at this lovely farm! The house was perfect for our family—spacious, clean, and comfortable with three bedrooms, a full kitchen, and everything we needed for our time there. The highlight was definitely the farm itself. We got to take a great tour of the working dairy farm, and our 3-year-old absolutely loved the experience—collecting fresh eggs and even helping feed baby calves with bottles. It was such a unique and memorable hands-on experience for all of us. The owner was so welcoming and helpful, which made the stay even better. Highly recommend for families looking for a peaceful stay with a special farm experience!

Great place+++. We first went to this farm stay in 1999 when the kids were young. Funny after a few more trips my 3 kids preferred here over Disney in FL (one year I said “Do you all want to go to Disney or to the farm?” Hands down it was the farm.) We have since visited numerous times after that for a total of 9 stays now! We’ve even brought family and friends. Sharon and Barry are a great family and will spend a lot of time showing you the ropes of milking if you want to understand more about dairy farming. At the same time, it is private so you can chill without any distractions. This is a place to chill and recharge. You can roam the property, pet and feed the cows, collect chicken eggs and play with the cats. And you can even take a kitten home as we did many years ago. Awesome

This was our 3rd stay at the farm. Our kids call it "their favorite place on earth." The location is so peaceful and the kids are constantly busy playing with the kitten, collecting eggs, watching the cows and playing on the swingset. The hosts are so kind and involve the kids in farm activities like feeding a baby cow a bottle and brushing their pet horse. This is truly a unique, family friendly vacation!

I’ve been coming to Meadow View K Farm for over a decade. The house is always spotless and comfortable, the Kreiders are friendly but never intrusive, and the peaceful farm setting—with fireflies, porch views, and playful cats—makes every stay special. You can take part in farm chores if you want to, feeding the baby calves is a must! A true hidden gem in Lancaster that I can’t recommend enough (and the WiFi is great too!)

The place was very old. I had terrible allergies the entire time and needed to take medication daily. The rugs did not look clean. The wallpaper had bugs crawling out of it. The sink drain also had bugs crawling out of it. The sofas felt dirty to sit on and a few spiders crawling on it as well. The AC units all had black mold. The host was nice, but the place needs a major renovation.
