McQuoid's Inn

Very disappointed with fishing service. Two years ago had a great experience and service so came back, but this time around was absolutely not worth the money. Was supposed to be a “semi guided” experience but was not. A kid showed us where the ice house was and we never saw anyone again. Toilet was not empty and overflowing, fishfinder and TV were not working, last time they set up poles and got us started but this time nothing. We had questions and no one to ask.we planned to make this a yearly ice fishing trip (and we come in the summer yearly as well) but were so soured by the experience we won’t be back in any season. ($600 for house, $100 for tip, $25 for dog = $725.)

We stayed in the hotel. The only reason I didn't give McQuoid's 5 stars is because I felt the springs of my mattress poking into me and it was lumpy. A 3 inch topper would solve that problem easily. Other than that, the place was very clean which is always my number 1 priority. I couldn't care less about how OLD things are as long as they are maintained and clean. Out TV and air conditioner worked great. The front desk ladies were very friendly . They always greeted us coming and going and would ask if there was anything they could do for us. Loved that! The lobby was very relaxing, comfortable, homey....They had a popcorn machine available for the guests, coffee was always made and there was fruit sitting in a bowl on one of the tables. Was a great ice fishing experience! The staff was awesome and very helpful. House was perfect and ready to fish! Will certainly be back!

Our entire family of 11 stayed the week of July 4th and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. the house was clean, the kitchen was great and comfortable for all to sit around the table. good seating for all in the living room and the beds were comfortable. they went over and above in assisting us when our 4 wheeler got a flat tire. they provided plenty of ice, and the kids loved the playground and bouncy houses- we would stay again in a heartbeat! thank you!

I stayed here this past weekend for a festival I played. I have stayed at a lot of places but being here was one of my favorites. Has a family feel, and the owners are incredible people and do a lot for the community. Really glad I got to stay here. Thank you guys for making my trip this weekend great!
