MCM Eleganté Hotel Odessa

The Hotel Elegante in Odessa, Texas has a mixed feel. Pulling up to the hotel on a work trip, it felt very dated. Walking up to the entry with a giant Ten Commandments monument felt out of place and imposing. Assuming this hotel is for a very specific clientele… The common areas are also quite dated and have a noticeable musky smell, which can be off-putting at first. Checkin was a struggle. Took a while for someone to even help me and when she finally arrived, had zero personality and no smile. On the bright side, my room had been recently updated and was clean, comfortable, and much more modern than the rest of the hotel. It was nice to have a pleasant room to retreat to, though the overall atmosphere of the hotel could definitely use a refresh. I also had access to a nightly lounge area

We arrived on Christmas day 2025 for Elegante's unbelievable Christmas buffet. It is beyond description as to how delicious it was! The staff were superb in attending to our needs. We also treated ourselves to a one night stay. The beds are so incredibly comfortable you want to take them home! Rooms are clean. Room service, and the food was great! Can't say enough good things about this hotel!!

We stayed at MCM Eleganté Hotel for four days while in town for work. When we arrived late the first night, the Filipina lady at the front desk greeted us with such a warm, welcoming attitude something that feels rare these days in customer service. She was genuinely kind and even followed up to make sure our room was okay after we checked in. Because of her, our first impression of the hotel was very positive. The next day, after a long workday, we decided to try the restaurant connected to the hotel, The Shrimp Boat. Unfortunately, that experience was very disappointing. While standing at the check-in area, two staff members were talking for quite some time before acknowledging us. When they finally did, they looked us over, exchanged looks, and made a comment about my husband’s SERVICE

We stayed here while my daughter participated in the Special Olympics Fall Classic. The room we stayed in was very clean and freshly renovated. The staff was very friendly and the food was great. We recommend this as a great place to stay in Odessa.

Positive: "" Negative: The sink plug would close, but wouldn't open back up. zTried to look under the sink and the door wasn't secured. I didsnsge to get the sink plug open.
