McKenzie General Store & Obsidian Grill Restaurant

Love this place. It’s a combination of food, beer, wine, coffee and stuff. Books, cards, cups, clothes, toiletries, water bottles, snacks and much more. Their inventory is very high quality so don’t expect Walmart prices. I was overjoyed to find they serve a golden milk latte. They really enjoy dogs and the staff are very friendly. You should check this place out if you have time. I’ll definitely be stopping in again on my way to the hot springs.

Wonderful place! Took a drive and wound up here. We had their Kale Salad and Bier Cheddar Cheese Soup, both were amazing! Ended up driving back a few days later to have breakfast. The Avocado Toast was my favorite!

Lovely place to stop after a hike, fishing, or on your Mckenzie river drive. We passed this place so many times before finally stopping in. Their menu is short but the food was good. Mostly sandwiches. The general store has lots of cute gifts and a great selection of drinks. The general store and outside patio are pet friendly.

Made a stop at the McKenzie General Store during our road trip. Best decision ever. We got the Kale Salad and Salmon Tacos. The best ever. They also had a great selection of bath goodies. Loved this place and will definitely stop by again.

Calling it a 'general store' doesn't quite do McKenzie General Store & Cafe justice. It’s more like a super cozy convenience spot in town where you can grab some snacks, but if you're coming for the food, you are in for a treat. OMG, the salmon tacos might sound a little unusual at first, but they are absolutely fantastic. There's a reason you see them mentioned in so many other reviews! My wife really enjoyed the hot wings, and we both loved the clean, comfortable environment. Plus, having games in the corner made it feel like they really want you to stay awhile and enjoy yourself. We had such a great time here that it's definitely on our list of places to revisit whenever we’re in the area. Looking forward to coming back again!
