No frills campsite. Vault toilet. No water. BWCA traffic and parking, BRT as well. A few open canopy sites, four or five secluded ones. All have fire rings.
Great little campgroung...been there many times. This is a great spot from which to jump off into the BWCA, either to the north through Little John lake OR to the southwest through Pine lake. No running water but it has access to the Border Route Trail and lake McFarland.
Quiet area. Dark at night so you can see the stars better.
