McArdle's Resort

Went ice fishing for the first time. It was quite an experience. Ice was very thick so there was no vehicle restrictions on the lake so we drove our large transit van pulling an enclosed trailer all over the lake & drilled holes where ever the fish were hanging out at. It was a lot of fun. Dress warm when the weather is 0⁰ & below.

Family run resort... feels like family when you're there. Cabins were clean and accommodating. Lodge had all basic needs. We caught our limit of northerns daily and the dockgirl did an excellent job of filleting. I highly recommend McArtles for your Northern fishing experience!

I spent last week up there in cabin 23. Very nice clean resort! Great friendly staff, Paige, Nate, Tessa, Lily and Archer holding down the lodge. Abby and Alex were right on it when leaving and coming into the docks. Mark

Perfect place to disconnect! Lake Winnie is not commercialized and you are surrounded by a National Forest. The cabins are older and more rustic but the service of the staff is incredible and they help launch your boat.

Our cabin meet all of our needs at a reasonable price. We had a 7 bedroom 2 bathroom cabin for 10 adults and four children under the age of 5. The staff were pleasant and helpful. The boat we rented was awesome, a Lund Rebel, gas was included in the rent. We will definitely return.
