Maui Seaside Hotel

We got a really nice room, newly done it seems compared to the other reviews. The staff are so sweet and the pool area is the best for those hot days! It’s nice to walk down to the little beach area too, and there are good food trucks nearby for a quick bite. Being nearby the airport was really nice too for our return flight, and all the tours and Ubers we booked were able to easily locate us. And there’s the cutest little kitty on the premises! We would definitely stay here again!

This is an absolute gem. We stayed in stylish newly renovated rooms which looked out to a lovely walkway. The grounds are beautiful with elegant flowers and plants. The staff, we felt emody the spirit of Hawaii and made us feel welcomed. This stay was part of a layover heading back from Japan to California so we slept about 18 hrs total lol... the rest of the time we spent dining, swimming in the absolute dream beach front location or eating at the restaurant located at the hotel. We found out the restaurant, Tante's, isn't the same ownership but is a fantastic neighbor. We had the luxury of enjoying dinner and breakfast there. We arrived late in the evening after a flight from the mainland. The lady that checked us in was amazing. She was so welcoming and helpful. Her service made our stay wonderful.  The pool area and beach were like a five star resort. Rooms were in need of renovation but location was great.

-We were disappointed with the condition of our room. The hotel’s Instagram advertises renovated rooms, but the room we were given appeared to be at least 30–40 years old. It felt outdated and did not match the expectations set by their marketing. I would strongly recommend confirming in writing (via email) whether you are booking a renovated room before arrival to avoid surprises. We also had to kill a couple of bugs in the bathroom during our stay. -On a positive note, the pool area is very well maintained. We had a great time enjoying the pool and the cabanas. -The staff were helpful and did their best to assist us with any requests, which we appreciated. -Be aware that there is both a parking fee and an additional resort fee, so factor those into your total cost before booking. -La

From the outside the place doesn't look all that nice, but the renovated rooms were great. Chose this location for convenience to the airport, included shuttle and middle of the island. Beach is very small, but walkable. Debris but thats outside of their control. Beautiful to sit outside in the morning. Pool was nice. Overall nice stay.
