Mataguay Scout Ranch

Cool camp, has a lot of potential. Kinda ran down between the fire rings to the bathrooms. Bring a fishing pole!

Mataguay is a great place to get kids out in nature. It is reasonable for cub scout families to come and visit. I especially love to visit in spring, everything is so green and the weather is great! Camp has seen better days, but everytime I visit I notice that things are getting cleaned up and fixed. It is so wonderful to see so many volunteers taking an investment in the care and upkeep of this awesome property.

Good camp. they have well-written ghost stories, decent facilities, excellent staff, their food is definitely much better than average camp fare, and their astronomy program is amazing! They also have robotics, shooting sports, horseback riding, and a live radio broadcast for scouts. Good place. Will come again if I can.

Ive been coming here for five years and I absolutely love it. There is such a great variety of programs offered from rock climbing to mountain biking to metalworking on top of all of the traditional camp fare, which are all run remarkably well. The staff are super friendly and eager to help. The quality of the food fluctuates from year to year with each new chef, but it averages out to be pretty good with a couple of notable meals every week to look forward to. In addition to all of the scout programs, there is a wealth of opportunity for adults as well from scoutmaster classes to lifeguard training, not to mention free coffee and wifi in the main office. All in all, coming to mataguay is almost always the hilight of my summer.

Mataguay scout ranch is the best scout ranch ever. I highly recommend walking around and just discovering stuff like the Blackfoot building, the staff were very pleasing but bring fishing gear
